Coming back to Sanjeeda and Aamir, the very good looking couple and easily the coolest, with no needless antics and no dramebaazi, seemed pleasantly surprised when their Jodi number was announced through a little magic show put up by Pulkit Samrat, better known as Lakshya of Kyunki. Meanwhile, the other 3 Jodis will have to perform one last time to woo the jury to secure the 2nd position for the Finale slated for December 22nd.

‘I don’t want sympathy’
Kavita and Karan were unable to impress judges in the second episode of Nach Baliye. However Kavita and their choreographer said that even though Kavita was sick we did not want sympathy votes and that is the reason they refused to tell the real reason for the lack luster performance on stage.
So what according to her went wrong last night?
“We experiment with our dance. Karan is a good looking guy and we wanted to break that image of him. So we gave him that old get up just for fun. Same time I also wanted to wear a fisherwoman’s costume so we did it. It is not necessary that we should perform well every time. We are not professional dancers.”
“We are not here to win the show because thinking that would be stupidity. I do not believe that you should mention your personal life problem on stage in front of everyone. I do not like show my weakness. I do not want to say that I was not well that day and as it is judges had no problem with our performance but with our choreography. I do not like to ask for sympathy votes,” she adds
Kavita says that it was out of her own choice that she didn’t mention her illness or the fact that they got very little time to practice.
“We are not like those people who like to gain publicity with their injuries and pains. There are lots of reasons behind our not so good performance but I think weaker people like to count reasons and I am definitely not one of them. Those who give reasons that my hand or leg is broken or we did not get time for practice and all are very weak people according to me. We are bad dancers but not weak people to ask for sympathy votes.”
“This week as well we are getting less time for practice as I am shooting in the morning and Karan in the night. So our timings are clashing with each other. But we have participated in the show as a hobby and I would never mention this fact on the stage. If you have taken that responsibility of performing on the stage then you should not give reasons for your performances even if you have major crisis at home,” says the actress candidly.

Juhi walks out of Nach Baliye?
When the jodis heard of her inclusion they weren’t happy and there was quite a furor on sets. So much so that even filming came to a halt for a while. However, Juhi had already left the show when the reaction took place. However now that she has come to know it seems the actress wants to back out. A Source says Juhi is planning to quit the show.
“She recently issued a press note which says that she is backing out of the show as she does not want to make anyone unhappy or to be unfair to anyone. She does not want to be in any controversies. She took up the show because she thought it was challenging,” says the source.
The source also suggests that there is a possibility that another actor maybe roped in to replace Juhi so as to continue with the concept of finding a partner from the public.
Juhi had performed on the first day as a part of the Talash-e Baliye contest which would allow the common man to participate and get a chance to dance with Juhi and compete with the rest of the 10 jodis.

Nach Baliye 3 Love Birds: Kashmeera and Krushna
One of Nach Baliye 3’s hottest couples on and off screen without a doubt is Kashmeera Shah and Krushna Abhishek. The duo share amazing chemistry both before and behind the camera.
We spotted the couples dazzling the judges with their performance on the first episode and the chemistry between the two was palpable. While performing on any number Kashmeera can never get her eyes off her beau Krushna. And Krushna never misses a single chance to lock lips and hug his lady love. From hanging out together hand in hand on the sets to setting the dance floor on fire together, the two Ks have developed a name for the being the show’s love birds.
A source says it’s quite nice to see them so in love with each other. “They are really in love each other… all of us watch their chemistry all the time which is quite noticeable in their performance as well. During shoot as well Krushna takes good care of Kashmeera and after every performance he never forgets to appreciate her with a warm hug and a kiss.”
Even an the Red Carpet Event last night all the couples were quite relaxed and were often spotted dancing with other participants. But that was not the case for Kashmeera and Krushna who only had eyes for one another all evening long!
As soon as the hit song Soni de Nakhre from Partner came on, Krushna hit the dance floor imitating his uncle Govinda on whom the song is picturised. And Kashmeera kept her eyes firmly planted on him till he pulled her on dance floor as well.
When the show was screened last night for the invitees the duo’s performance was the only one that got a standing ovation from the guests and the other jodis. And pretty much like their performance during the first episode it seems the two real life lovers can’t have enough of one another as they were the only couple who came together, danced together, rocked the party together and left together!

“My participation is enough to push the TRPs but if on the other hand I have my student whose Godfather I am then I am sure the TRPs will also move up. You see I am not competing with anyone… I have already achieved a lot because I am no item boy. I am a singer who has had many hit songs. And sure the TRPs will go up…wherever Mika arrives the TRPs sure do move up… and where Mika’s kids go there too the TRPs get better!”
But what made you want to pariticipate in a dance show? Was it because you knew Rakhi was also doing something similar?
“Look I am not trying to compete with anyone. The people who have come into this market for dancing are only famous today because of me. So no matter which show show you watch you will only remember me? If you watch my show you will have a lot of fun… if you watch other people’s show then too you will remember me… so no matter where you go and what you watch you will only remember me!” says the singer.
Mika says he has a message for his nemesis. “I’d like to tell her that if you do win the competition do give some royalties to your Godfather who has helped you get such a big name in the industry!”
Things have taken a sour note between Rakhi and Mika since the time Sawant claimed that the singer forcefully kissed her at his birthday last year. Although Mika has always maintained nothing like this happened at the time of the incident it created a huge controversy followed which Mika released a song called “Bhai toone pappi kyoo li” poking fun at Rakhi who by then had gone sore claiming that the woman in her had been wronged by a man to anyone and everyone who heard her.
So with the two arch enemies a part of two different dance competitions right now things are only going to get hot…and not just on the dance floor!

Guess the third judge!
Nach Baliye 3 brings you the best of Bollywood. The original dance show will have three judges who will play God to the fates of our ten jodis. Bollywood beauty Ishaa Koppikar and the lady who makes the biggest names of Bollywood dance to her tunes have taken their place on the judges’ podium. But their still remains one judge who will be unveiled only on September 21st – the day Nach Baliye 3 hits your telly screens!

Saroj or Vaibhavi: Who would you rather have?
So we asked the jodis who would they rather have – Saroj or Vaibhavi?
Amita Chandekar and Karan Patel
To be honest it’s the channels decision so we can’t say anything about it. Both the judges are good choreographers in their own right.
Sweta Keswani and Alexx O’Neill
It doesn’t make us a difference one way or the other. We aren’t looking at it as a competition to win… its more about us dancing, learning various styles and improving our ourselves along the way.
Shivangi and Shakti Kapoor
Someone told me that Saroj Khan is not a judge any more so I felt bad as I have worked a lot with her. She is one of the best dancers in our country and has a lot of experience in classical and modern dance. I wish she could be our judge. But if the news is true then its very sad news for us. Its not that I am against Vaibhavi Merchant but it would have been good to have had Saroj Khan as the judge.
Amita and Vikas Sethi
I am sure that Saroj would have brought her own charm to the show. But at the same time Vaibhavi will bring her own flavour… we have no idea what we are in store for!
Kavita Kaushik and Karan Grover
We aren’t even thinking about all that. Our job is to rehearse and perform to the best of our abilities. It shouldn’t matter who is sitting on the other side to us.
Sanjeeda Sheikh and Amir Ali
I think we all will miss her bluntness and caustic remarks. We were mentally preparing ourselves for it. But at the same time we are sure that Vaibhavi will come with her set of remarks – good and bad!
Pooja Bedi and Hanif Hilal
As dancers it would be great to be appreciated by someone like Saroj but having said that it doesn’t mean Vaibhavi isn’t going be like that too. I am sure both come with their understanding of dance and one way or the other all of us will be in the firing line.
Ritu and Kiran Jhanjani
As far as Saroj Khan is concerned we wouldn’t have a problem with what she says she is a senior and experienced person. But how can I believe the comment of a girl who is lesser in age and experience? We think it will create ego problems. We think an experienced person should be the judge and Saroj Khan is the queen of Bollywood dance.
Pooja and Hanif: Unfair Advantage?
The entry of Pooja Bedi and Hanif Hilal in Nach Baliye certainly raised eyebrows. Many believed that the duo had an unfair advantage as they have been a part of a similar dance reality show. There were whispers doing the rounds stating that many look as them having an idea about how it all works as opposed to the rest who are doing anything like this for the first time.
We spoke some of the contestants about Hanif and Pooja’s entry to find out if they had a problem with it.

We don’t have any problem Pooja and Hanif. They are good dancers and deserve to be here. I guess it can be considered a lucky break for them to be a part of both such shows.
Vikas and Amita Sethi
“Why should it bother us? It’s not at bothering me at all as we aren’t doing this for the money. We are looking at it as a way to relax, chill and have some fun. As far as their inclusion is concerned it is the channel’s decision. I will be dancing with my wife and that’s all that matters to me!”
Aamir Ali and Sanjeeda Sheikh
“Who cares? My role is to dance with Sanjeeda and that’s about it. This is hardly like the BBCI and ICL where you can only be a part of one and not the other!”
Alexx O’Neill and Sweta Keswani
“We don’t consider this as a competition to beat anyone. We are doing it for ourselves and it doesn’t matter who is part of this. Compared to us everyone has an unfair advantage… Alexx has never dance Bollywood earlier whereas the rest in the competition come with years of experience. Pooja and Hanif aren’t the only ones!”
Shakti and Shivangi Kapoor
“We are not scared of any one. All the participants are our friends and it all depends on hard work and good timing. Dance is all about professionalism and emoting yourself and if you do that well then you will come out on tops. Your background or what all you have already done doesn’t really matter. Its all about what you do on that particular day.”
Shakti Kapoor finds his real judges
Strong competition from his fellow dance contestants or confusion about the judges. Nothing seems to be affecting Shakti Kapoor as he prepares for Nach Baliye 3 with his wife Shivangi Kapoor.
He says in fact for both him and his wife, the competition has actually begun and he has already found himself two judges whose opinion counts more than anyone else’s.
“We had to record reality footage for the channel and so we had to get people who know us to pass comments about what they think of our dancing, the show. Our participation. So we have decided to hand over the reality cameras to out two children! They are busy monitoring there parents performance before the show,” says Kapoor.
Star has handed over handy cams to all the participants on Nach Baliye 3 to get reality footage from their friends and family members. These bytes will then be aired before the shows goes on air.
Shakti Kapoor says he didn’t have to do too much hard work to find the right person to judge him. He says no one could be better placed than his kids for the job. “We have handed over the camera to our children and now they are busy judging who is the best papa or mummy. So my children are my final judge. I completely believe their opinions and views,” says the doting dad.
Well Shakti as much as we agree that your kids are great judges just don’t get used to their remarks because we are sure the Nach Baliye judges are going to be a lot stricter!
Rakhi Sawant plays nurse
Last night Rakhi was donning a new role as her boyfriend cum Nach Baliye partner, Abhishek Awasthi, hurt himself during rehearsals. Initially the couple thought it was just a minor injury but as things got very painful for Awasthi, Rakhi decided to take her boyfriend to the hospital for a proper medical check up.
It all began when the couple was rehearsing their sequence last night. Once the technical rehearsals were over, the duo decided to practice some more in their own time and that’s when Abhishek got a severe cramp in his left leg. When we spoke to him, Awasthi was in agony and it was even difficult for him to speak to us to explain what was wrong.
“I am in a lot of pain… I am going to the doctor right now with Rakhi. I can’t even walk it’s so bad. I slipped while dancing. Rakhi is with me. I hope there is no fracture,” said Awasthi as he hung up. When we called Pratap Shetty – the duo’s choreographer – he was completely unaware of what had happened to his student.
“I am not aware of what has happened as I was busy with some other technicalities of the show. Abhishek is a very hard working guy. I hope nothing very serious has happened to him and he stays ok till the show is on,” said Pratap.
The couple has decided to take a day off today so as to give Abhishek enough time to recover from his cramp. However, a lack of rehearsal right now could have far reaching effects as the couples are expected to begin filming very soon.Sanjeeda and possible host, Eijaz Khan’s bad history
Kya Hoga Nimmo Ka was Sheikh’s first show but at that time Eijaz was tellyland’s blue eyed boy. And although Sanjeeda and Eijaz’s friendship started on a good note it didn’t take very long before things went down hill.
Initially the sets were pleasant and the crew members shared a good rapport and camaraderie but soon we heard of tension on the sets. Allegations were made that the Sanjeeda and Eijaz didn’t share a good relationship any more. In fact each complained of the other having an attitude problem says set sources. The show went off air earlier this year and many suggest that shutting shop was largely due to the problems between the two. It reached a point where neither would speak to one another. “They started fighting a lot on the sets. They hardly spoke to each other during the shoot.”
It is rumoured that Eijaz Khan and his girlfriend Anita Hassanandani are going to be hosting the dance show this year. But with Sanjeeda around we wonder if there will be fireworks that we need to watch out for… and we don’t just been her jhatkas and matkas!

Nach Baliye III - Final 10 Jodis
Alright! The sizzling 10 jodis of this years Nach baliye are finalized and announced and they all are looking gorgeous.
Pooja Bedi and her toy boy Hanif Hilal I guess are just participating for fun, as they should know they don’t stand any chance of surviving in front of Rakhi and Kashmera. I guess the Nach Baliye team couldn’t find a fresh couple for jodi no.10 place, so they picked flop couple of Jhalak Dikhla Jaa.
Another shock is Shakti Kapoor and his daughter Or wife Shivangi. I don’t know how she lives with Shakti Kapoor, she is too good for him and also looks too young.
Well! I am only interested in two “Cats” of bollywood and television, Rakhi Sawant and Kashmira Shah. From the look of video of Nach Baliye 3, the show will be rocking and steamy hot this year. Rakhi Sawant has removed her silicon implants for Nach Baliye 3.
She said, “The implants tend to bounce if one dances very hard. Six months after the show, I’ll get them back” (how convenient). This is what called “putting your body and soul in the show”.
Nach Baliye 3 is slated to kick off in September-end on Star One. The show is likely to launch on the same day as Sony’s second season of Jhalak Dikhla Ja.
